Nails, The take everywhere accessory

When you think about accessories, most generally, jewelry, handbags, shoes and maybe scarves come to mind first, but one accessory we carry with us everywhere we go, our nails. That’s right, I said it, our fingernails and toenails are accessories, they are the perfect canvas to show your personality or flare. Nails can be understated with a basic color that won’t clash with anything we wear, or, it can be like an artist’s blank canvas, that can come alive with color and design.

In the summertime, with sandals, flip flops and open-toed shoes, it’s pedicure time, and another opportunity to show some style. If you lack ideas, a quick look at pinterest, will flood you with colors, designs and ideas.

I keep my nails done all year, its part of my look, although I don’t indulge in pedicures very often, or even paint my toes, I keep my fingers painted all the time. It depends on the time of year, if I go with dark colors or bright summery ones. I used to get a design or nail art on all 10 fingers, but in an effort to save money, I really don’t do it that often anymore. I get a lot of compliments on my nails, and people notice my rings and ask about them, which is a good thing since I sell jewelry.

Handbags, Handbags, Handbags

I want, I need, I love, handbags of every color, shape, size and brand. If you are an accessory addict like me, its hard not to be drawn to all the different types of handbags and purses, that are everywhere you go. After all, handbags are a necessary accessory.

I like to watch what people wear, and the style they bring forth with their selections. One accessory I notice first, is the choice of handbag. Some women have tiny bags that are a choice of necessity, while others see it as a way to showcase style and fashion.

I change my handbag to match my outfit, or to give my wardrobe a pop of color. When I buy, I usually buy based on what I like, and according to budget. Now that I thrift, I can afford some I couldn’t before. I have thrifted Tommy Hilfiger, Nine West, Tignanello, Liz Claibourne and Sophia Caperelli. The handbags I dream of finding in a thrift store are Michael Kors and Tory Burch.

Most of the pictures I have posted are handbags I love, but some are actually ones I own. I can’t carry a small bag, I carry to much stuff, and my phone is almost as big as a tablet, so I need space. So, what are your handbag needs and styles? Are you a fashionista or just a necessity gal?
