Although I think summer was way to short and it rained for more than half of it, I can’t help but get excited for fall, especially the fashion choices. When I think of fall, I think of warm days and cool nights, pumpkin spice everything, and of course getting to wear boots and sweaters.
I have subscribed to some fashion sites on Facebook, and the fall fashion and accessories are plentiful. I love to see how the trends go, and the popular colors for the new season. Gray and purple, rust and green, blue and brown, putting certain colors together is genius, why didn’t I think of that?
Accessories such as scarves are a big fall fashion statement, one that I am trying to master. I love the colors and textures, and the look all the different scarves add, but I am still trying to figure them out, and since I am a big jewelry person, it’s hard to cover up my necklace, but I am working on that. I have already bought three beautiful scarves at thrift shops, and I am ready to try this again.
I have begun my fall thrifting and I am happy to report, I have already thrifted two pair of brand new boots, a black tall pair by Easy Spirit, and an over the ankle gray wool look by Liz Claiborne. I have also started my sweater buying and I have added a Tommy Hilfiger and an Izod to my closet. The fun of finding such awesome buys, and I also have begun looking for jackets and coats, since they are so cheap, why not have one to match every style.
September is here, it’s almost time to put away the flip flops and tank tops and exchange them for boots and sweaters. School is about to start and the next thing you know it will be Halloween, but for now it’s time to start the transition to one of my fav times of the year. That means the closet will be bulging with both seasons wardrobe, so go ahead, break out the fall candles, go get that pumpkin spice coffee from Dunkin or Wawa, and start to feel the beautiful cool mornings and evenings, it’s coming people, fall is upon us!!
